The DOCUWISE Managed Print Services diagnosis is performed with an easy to install and use assessment tool. The PESO™ (Print Environment System Organizer) DCA (Data Collection Agent) software taps into a company's network server
to diagnose printing and imaging infrastructure. Once an analysis is conducted, total direct and indirect costs of imaging and printing can be identified and recommendations can be made in order to develop benchmarks that can reduce the cost of document output for organizations.
The PESO™ DCA is a software application that is installed on a server (preferred), non-dedicated networked device or workstation at each location where imaging device metrics are to be collected. Our State-of-the-Art web
monitoring tool will help you get started monitoring all of your customer's networked and local print devices.
The PESO™ DCA can be installed and monitored online. Using our online MPS training and MPS tools your designated managed print specialist will meet with your customer base, teach them about the basics of fleet
management, provide them with the assessment tools to monitor their network device information and help your customers understand what their existing cost of operation is in their document workflow environment. Your manged print specialist will help your customers understand the print fleet audit and how to interpret the results in order to make intelligent business decisions about your customer's workflow.
The PESO™ DCA runs as a Windows service or, optionally, a scheduled task, allowing it to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Types of information collected: The PESO™ DCA collects the following information from the print environment devices during a network scan:

· IP Address (can be masked)

Data collection and transmission methods do not capture print job or user data.
DOCUWISE Web Console PESO™
The DOCUWISE web console is the online interface used to access the collected information. Access to the web console is controlled with permissions-based user management. Users must log into PESO™ using a designated username
and password and permissions levels are set by the designated PESO™ administrator.
